The Migrant Backpack is an audiovisual and cultural producer founded in 2018 by migrant artists from Venezuela, based in Roraima, Brazilian Amazon. We act with cinema, photography, trilhas and community experiences that are born from the territory, from the exploration and the desire for transformation.

We create narratives with belonging, memory and justice as language.

History

The Migrant Backpack was born in 2018, in Boa Vista (RR), founded by migrant artists from Venezuela who credit art as a tool of exploration, memory and transformation.

We create films, photographs, sound films and cultural projects with a sensitive and committed mind to the territories we inhabit.

We are migrants who tell their own stories with poetic, collective and deeply connected languages to social justice, diversity and life on the Amazon border.
